Cancellation and Refund Policy

Last updated: 17 September 2026

In short

1. Who takes the payment

Payments for Unfed plans are handled by Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited, London, United Kingdom, and its affiliates) as Merchant of Record. Paddle takes the payment, issues the receipt or invoice and processes refunds. Paddle appears on your card statement. Unfed has no access to your card details.

2. Prices and taxes

In Poland and the European Union the displayed price is the total price and includes VAT. In the United States sales tax is added at checkout and shown before you confirm payment. The billing country you provide at checkout determines the currency and the tax. You can enter an EU VAT number at checkout.

3. Cancelling

  1. You cancel a plan in the dashboard: Profile, plan section, "Manage subscription" (opens the Paddle portal). You can also write to support@unfed.space.
  2. After cancelling, the plan keeps working until the end of the paid period. No further payment is taken. On the first day after the period ends your Space moves to the Free plan: the 6 newest works are visible, sync runs weekly, the "Made with UNFED" mark returns, and the shop and announcements modules stop being visible.
  3. Nothing is deleted. Works, shop settings, announcements and personalisation are kept and return the day you move back to a paid plan.
  4. There is no cancellation fee and no notice period.

4. Changing plan

You change plan in the Paddle portal (Profile, "Manage subscription"). Paddle settles the price difference for the rest of the period pro rata and shows you the amount before you confirm the change. When moving to a higher plan the new features are available immediately; when moving to a lower plan the overpayment is credited against future payments.

5. Refunds

  1. First purchase of a paid plan. You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase without giving a reason (§ 13 of the Terms). We refund the full amount of the first payment, even if you used the plan during that time. Write to support@unfed.space with your Space address, or use the Paddle contact details on your receipt.
  2. Renewals (the second and subsequent payments) are not refundable. That is why we remind you: cancelling at any time stops further payments, and the plan keeps working until the end of the paid period.
  3. Exceptions in which we refund a renewal: (a) the Service was unavailable or materially non-conforming for a significant part of the period through our fault; we then refund pro rata for that time; (b) a payment was taken after an effective cancellation; (c) other cases where the law requires it. Report such a case to support@unfed.space within 30 days of the payment being taken.
  4. Refunds when we change things. If we terminate the contract for an important reason, stop providing the Service, change the Terms, or materially and adversely change the Service, and you leave for that reason, we refund the unused part of the fee pro rata (§ 16 and § 17 of the Terms).
  5. Rewards from the "Invite friends" programme (Premium days) have no monetary value and cannot be refunded or exchanged for cash.
  6. How refunds are paid. Paddle refunds to the payment method you used, within 14 days of the refund being approved. How long it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider (usually 5 to 10 business days).

6. Failed payment

If a renewal fails, Paddle retries and sends you an email with a link to update your payment method. Until payment succeeds we may limit paid-plan features. After the retries are exhausted the plan expires and your Space moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.

7. Account deletion and your plan

Deleting your account ends a paid plan immediately. Unused plan time is not refunded unless you are entitled to a refund under section 5. We recommend cancelling the plan first, using the paid period, and only then deleting the account.

8. Complaints

Submit a complaint about a payment to support@unfed.space. We respond within 14 days. You can also contact Paddle (details on your receipt). Your statutory consumer rights, including the right of withdrawal and remedies for non-conformity of a digital service, are unaffected.
